Idaho lawmakers recently passed a $50 million program that uses tax dollars to fund private school tuition. Some lawmakers want to see the program expanded to $339 million a year, amounting to over $3 billion in taxpayer funds over the next decade.
Join Save Our Schools Idaho for a Town Hall discussion on Tuesday, July 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Wood River Room, Room 227, in the ISU Pond Student Union Building about the harms of expanding this program.
The panel will be moderated by Former News Anchor Karole Honas. The panel will include Pocatello High School Teacher Marcy Curr, Hawthorne Middle School Teacher Kelly Heil, and Bonneville School District Superintendent Scott Woolstenhulme.
